

Henry Clark Polson was born November 9, 1932 in Wilburton, Oklahoma to parents, Henry and Bernice Polson. He passed from this life and went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2019 in Lubbock, Texas at the age of 86.
He was raised in Eufaula, Oklahoma, where he attended Oklahoma State University and received an Associate Degree in Diesel Mechanics. He was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a mason and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Muleshoe Texas.
It was said that he was a man of many talents and could fix anything! He worked for New Holland for many years but after being transferred from Muleshoe, Texas to Victoria, Texas and then to Vernon, Texas in just a few short years, he decided to stay in Vernon and became a commercial beekeeper. Clark managed around 1200 hives of honey bees and did everything from pollination, to queen breeding, to just producing delicious honey! All of the family was involved in this operation, as it was a family business. He was also an avid fisherman, gold prospector, and amateur model plane aviationist. He married the love of his life, Wilma Killingsworth on September 7, 1956. During, retirement Clark and Wilma traveled to many places in their RV.
He leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Wilma; three children, Dr. Michael Polson and wife Susan of Mansfield Texas, Teresa De Sautell and husband Cliff of Sudan Texas, Brian Polson and wife Terri of Lubbock Texas; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, June Polson Boyd of McAlester Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Dick, Tom, and Lynn, and a grandson, TJ Antell.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 11, 2019 in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Muleshoe Memorial Park in Muleshoe, Texas with Military Honors.
