Born June 6, 2006, to Amy and Jeffery Stoesser, Henry was a bright, curious, funny, and compassionate young man whose genuine kindness and quick wit made others feel truly appreciated and cared for. His generous heart and ability to make everyone feel welcomed and loved touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Henry was a proud graduate of Lubbock High School’s Class of 2024 and had recently been accepted to South Plains College, where he planned to study Political Science. Passionate about public service and making a difference, Henry cared deeply about his community and believed in standing up for what he believed was right.
He enjoyed playing video games with friends, thrift-store shopping, cooking, music, and collecting vinyl records. More than anything, Henry loved people. He accepted others without judgment, lived authentically, and brought laughter and joy wherever he went.
Henry is survived by his mother, Amy Stoesser; father, Jeffery Stoesser and bonus mom Tamara O’Hare; siblings, Vivian, Eric, and Thomas Stoesser; grandparents, Darnell and Ronald Dingle, and Andra and Patrick Abbott; aunts, Laura Abbott; Delronda Boyd, Melissa Young, Kassie Beers, and Alisha Stubbs, uncles Richard Boyd, William Stoesser, Mike Stubbs, and David Beers.
