

Hugh L. Hill, 75 of Lubbock passed away on December 29, 2013 surrounded by his family. The family will receive friends for visitation this even-ing at Resthaven Funeral Home from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday December 31, 2013 at 1:00 pm in Resthaven Funeral Home’s Abbey Chapel with Chaplain Tim Harper Officiating.
Hugh was born on January 5, 1938 around Blackwell, Arkan-sas to the late Floyd and Addie (Foreman) Hill. During his childhood he grew an interest in mechanics that followed him the rest of his life. He served in the United States Air Force for 13 years and was a Vietnam Veteran.
He married the love of his life Treva on July 4, 1980 in Truth or Consequences, NM for the next 33 years they created life long memories with family camping, and fishing. Hugh was hardworking, loving and giving. These three character-istics allowed him to work well with others and become an effective leader. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his sister Thelma Brem.
He leaves to cherish his wife, Treva; children, Steve Hill, Terry (Donna) Hill, Curtis (Kathy) Hill, Ray (Nanette) Hill, Jim (Amber) Hill, Johnothan (Brandi) Hill, Amy (Glen) Davis, and Brandon (Brenda) Perry; a host of loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Euleta Brem, Mary Boss, Joyce Ecrete, and Carlene Marshall; and his favorite fishing buddy Travis Kelley
