James David Field

James David Field, 74 of Slaton, TX passed away November 16, 2023. Born in Lubbock, TX, November 7th, 1949. He graduated from Coronado High School in 1968. James worked as a carpenter for most of his adult life and for Slaton ISD in the maintenance department. He was a member of Carpenters Union Local 1884.

He was proceeded in death by his mother Betty Swann Young Field, his father, James Claude Field, daughter, Marsha Diane Field and brother, Robert Marvin Field.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Field, his brother, Chester Field and wife, Ann , sister, Alva Diane Love and husband, David , sister in law, Elizabth Field, son, David Field and wife, Tabitha, son, Donovan Field and wife, Sarah, son, Chester Field and wife, Keri. Ten grandchildren, eleven great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for James will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, 5740 19th St., Lubbock, Texas. A graveside committal service will occur Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Memorial Park, 5740 19th St., Lubbock, Texas.
