James Rodney Long entered into eternal rest at the age of 74 on March 25, 2023. He was born in Carlsbad, NM on May 7, 1948, and was raised by his father, Earl Long, and grandparents David and Hattie Long.
James married the love of his life, Cynthia, and together they had two children, Melissa and Dallas. He was a Truck Driver his whole career and enjoyed being out on the open roads. He and Cynthia also traveled throughout the United States and outside the country numerous times. Some of their favorite places to visit was the Red River in New Mexico and the Caribbean’s. His most memorable times were spent with his loving family, whom will sorely miss him.
