I just found out that Jayna passed away.  She was such a wonderful, caring person.  She will always be remembered by me.  I kept Joshua when he was a kid.  Oh how she will be missed.

My Little Sister was always beside me. Wherever I was, so was she. My little shadow. She wrapped herself around my leg and forever around my heart. I took care of John Dee and Jayna often when Mom was at work. Jayna wanted to be everything in my eyes. And she was! We each had our own room, but Jayna slept with her Big Sister most of the time. When I went to Texas Tech to become a teacher, she was my little 3rd grader to practice my lessons with. I know it broke both of our hearts when I moved to Minnesota when she was 13.  But, we always kept our special  bond with each other. 

In childhood, I remember when we  would go down the alley and find all kinds of treasures to bring home. Jayna was so mechanical and would bring home anything to fix and she would get it to work. It was always fun to watch her do her things with her left hand.  She was proud of being left handed because our dad was also left handed. 

Jayna loved the special times when she was able to travel. She loved to go to Ruidoso on family trips. Bruce and I took Jayna to Nashville, Washington DC, and Richmond, Virginia, and even "Billy Bob's" on the way back to Lubbock.  She always loved seeing things on TV that she had seen in her travels. Jayna loved to fly to Minnesota and especially spend the 4th of July at the Lake. She loved pontoon rides and campfires and  making smores' together. When she was in Minnesota it gave her a chance to see Adam & Steph and Ellie & Owen, and Bruce.  Ellie and Jayna had such a special bond. Jayna knew Ellie was her great niece but also a shared grandaughter. 

She loved her family dearly. She loved when she was able to be with them. She loved special gatherings around her Birthday. She just wanted to be surrounded by those people who loved her. She gave so much without expecting anything in return.Jayna also loved her little Chihuahua, "Honey." "Honey" brought her so much comfort and company.  She also loved her coworkers, and especially her special friend and Boss, Gail, who gave her such love and support over the years. 

Jayna was a kind gentle soul. She was a devoted Mother first and foremost, Devoted Daughter, Sister, and Sister-inLaw. She lived with and took such good care of our Mom. They had such a great bond. Her love was unconditional for everyone. She never spoke an unkind word towards anyone. She would do whatever she could do for you never expecting anything in return. She was truly beautiful inside and out. 

 I will miss you the rest of my life. You never wanted to say Goodbye when I left. So, I won't say Goodbye. I will say, "I'll see you again, because I know this isn't where it ends".. I love you Jayna to the depths of my heart and soul. You blessed my life.Thank you for being my sweet sister.

My heart is so heavy at the loss of such a wonderful, kind, and caring friend. We spent many years working together and had some great times. Joshua was her world and I know this is very hard on him and the family. I pray God puts his healing hands on the family to get them through this rough time. You will always be with us. Until we meet again with the Angels. God Bless

My heart is heavy for the loss of my sweet friend and for her family, especially Jana "Jayna's" son.  We were best friends in high school and reconnected years later and it was like we were never apart.  I'll miss the way she could remind me of things and we would laugh. God has gained a shining angel to watch over us all.  I'll miss her so much.

Jana was just a great person. She never met a stranger and was willing to help anyone in need. She is going to be missed by those in the HIM Department at Covenant Health System. I was lucky enough to work with her for many years. I will miss her but know that she is in the presence of our Lord! Prayers for her family and friends.

Jana, your a wonderful person with such a kind heart. You were taken way to early, God must have special plans for you. I will always remember your smile and kindness and hold your memory close.
