

He was born in Lamesa, Texas as a son of the late Eulis and Maxine Rosson.
JD’s ambition was to be a Golf Professional, but found that being a Golf Course Superintendent was his true calling. His love of golf influenced his career and his life. One of his favorite hobbies was collecting Harley-Davidson gear and memorabilia. His collection reflected his passion and appreciation for the Harley-Davidson legacy, and it brought him great happiness. He was a devoted father, loving husband, and a beloved Chief who treasured his family and brought so much love and joy into their lives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sheri Parrack and brother, Ronnie Rosson.
He is survived by the love of his life, Teri Rosson; his only daughter, Randi Espinoza, the light of his life; her husband, Noel Espinoza; and his cherished grandchildren, Owen, Bella, and Alex, all of whom will miss him dearly. He is also survived by his two nieces, Natalie White of Whitehouse and Lisa Keith of Houston.
His memorial service to honor his life will be held at Lake Ridge Chapel on July 2, 2026 at 2pm. Please join us as we pay tribute to an extraordinary man by sharing stories, joy, and the love for him that unites us.
