Jeffrey Lane Isom

He was a graduate of Monterey High School and Texas Tech University. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting. He worked in public accounting for 10 years before joining PlainsCapital Bank. He worked for PCB for 27 years in Lubbock and Dallas.

Jeff and his family were charter members of Shadow Hills Baptist Church. He was also a member of Monterey Baptist Church in Lubbock, First Baptist Church of Carrollton, and First Baptist Church in Spur.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Isom, Jr and Robbie Gibson Isom and two brothers, Robert B Isom and Jim Bo Isom. He is survived by his wife and children: Brenda Isom of Spur, Trevor Isom and his wife Shannon of Plano, and Robin Moreno and her husband Marcus; blessed with 2 grandsons, Colt Lane Isom and Elijah Jeffrey Moreno; his siblings and their spouses: Andy and Cindy Isom of Granbury, David and Tammy Isom of Granbury, Rhonda and Danny Matthews of Lubbock; his extended family members: Bob and Juandell Giles of Spur and Brian and Elaine Giles Hickman of Allen; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m., to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 4, 2019 at Monterey Baptist Church.

Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

The family extends a thank you to the staff of Brookdale Monterey and Ralls Rehab Ranch and Hospice of the South Plains.
