He graduated from New Deal High School in 1959 and kept in touch with classmates throughout the years. Jesse married Jo Nancy Brown, February 28, 1969. Jesse was a professional welder and a talented wood and metal craftsman. He also ran his own remodeling business for several years.
Jesse enjoyed watching college football, playing music on his guitar and keyboard, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. He was a generous man and enjoyed helping others. Jesse was very committed to the Christian faith and read his bible frequently.
Those left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Tiffany and Tonya, as well as eight sisters and brothers: Letha, Deanna, Rose Mary, Betty, Roberta, Bill, Donald, and Jerry. Jesse will be dearly missed by all who knew him and experienced his amazing love and generosity. They are assured that he is now resting peacefully.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Celebration of life services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel with Pastor Jesse Cisneros officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
