Jessica Lynne Holt

On July 20, 2024, Jessica Lynne Hager Holt left the confines of this world to walk in full freedom with our Savior, Jesus. It is impossible to summarize in one eulogy the impact of Jessica's life. We want to hit the highlights and reinforce the wonderful mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend she was.

She was born at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, AL on May 7, 1978. Jessica was a person who loved everyone she met, and she never met a stranger. Jessica was a nurse not only by career but by calling. She served her profession honorably and with passion. She loved her family deeply. But she loved her son, Colton, with a fervor which served as her North Star throughout her life. She will be missed not only for her generous spirit and contagious smile but for the joy and laughter she gave to so many. Jessica made her profession of faith at a young age. Throughout her life she reinforced this decision and was at peace with her salvation and her eternal destination. Jessica graduated from Coronado High School in 1996, in 2002 she graduated South Plains College with her associates RN degree and Wayland Baptist University in 2014 with her Bachelors of Applied Science. Among the many places she served her patients, she was at UMC of Lubbock, Baylor Hospital of Dallas, and at the end of her career traveling throughout the Western part of the United States. She had a passion for the sand, sun, and scuba diving.

She is preceded in death by her father, Steve Franklin Hager, and sister, Tracy Hager Clift.

Left on earth to keep her legacy and memory thriving is her son, Colton Franklin Rea, mother, Aundria Boggess Hager, sister, Dawn Hager Millican, brother-in-law (although he has always been a brother) Shannon Clift. She was the "crazy" aunt to Samantha (Clift) Goble, Tanner Millican, Abigail (Millican) Boyd, Hunter Clift, Allison Millican, and Faith Millican.

Her memory will be shared with her great niece and 4 great nephews.

Her celebration of life will be held at Redbud Baptist Church on Friday, July 26th at 10:00am.
