Jim W. Hudson, 90, of Lubbock, Texas passed away on Tuesday July 23, 2013. Funer-al Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, July 26, 2013 at Southcrest Baptist Church with Jerry Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home. Visitation will be held between 6:00 and 7:00pm on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Jim was born near Lone Wolf, Oklahoma on September 3, 1922 to Robert and Nannie Hudson. He served in the U.S Navy during WWII. He married Mohota Holly on February 10, 1943, in Snyder, Oklahoma. They moved to Lubbock in 1950 where he began a long career as a steel erector. He was a longtime member of Southcrest Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Jim is survived by his wife, Mohota; his son Gary and wife Rita; his grandson Brandon and wife Jill and two great-grandchildren. He is also sur-vived by numerous nieces and nephews.
