Jimmie Johnson

She was born in Littlefield Texas on November 1st 1939 to parents Bessie Mae Myrkledove and Jimmy Mitchell. Jimmie Lee Johnson celebrated a wonderful childhood and was soon married to Marvin Hugh Johnson on February 6th 1978. She had a strong passion for helping others and chose to use those skills in a Nursing career that spanned many years. Jimmie was A devout worshiper of the Lord and celebrated him as a member of the Jehovah’s Witness, she had a love of life that reflected in her many hobbies that include gardening, cooking, being a lover of pets and watching westerns.

Jimmie is survived by Dorothy Johnson of Fort worth TX, Joan Rogers, Patricia Johnson White (Alan White) Dannie Mitchell, Bessie McGee (William Brown) Vernon Terry McGee, Alicia Faye McGee (Bobby Dixon) Ashley Hicks,Michael Collins, and one brother Buster Mitchell of Seattle Washington, 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews that were greatly loved.

She is preceded in death by two children, Bruce Mitchell and Teresa Mitchell.

Funeral Services will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park February 27th at 2pm.
