Jo graduated from Seagraves High School. She met Charles Cleveland Taylor, Jr. while they were both working for Southwestern Bell Telephone; they married in Lubbock on May 29, 1948. He preceded her in death, April 2007 after 58 years of marriage.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her children, Diana Melcher, Donna Taylor and Henry Taylor; grandchildren, Jayson and Danna Melcher, Brad and Krista Melcher and Mike and Courtney Taylor; great grandchildren, John and Micah Melcher.
Graveside services will be held at 2 pm, Monday, October 9, 2017 at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Sunday October 8, 2017 from 5-6 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home.
