

Joyce was born September 23, 1936, in Turkey, TX to Cass and Rachel Eudy. She was the third of five children, and the family later moved to Lubbock, TX.
She graduated from Lubbock High School in 1954 and continued to assert "Once a Westerner always a Westerner!”. On July 24, 1954, she married Jackey White, and they celebrated 71 years together.
Joyce enjoyed creating things. She especially enjoyed fabric and was a beautiful seamstress. Over the years she worked for several decorating studios making their custom drapery and later opened her own drapery shop. She loved flowers, whether growing them or through her job as a floral delivery driver seeing the joy the blooms brought to others.
For a number of years, she enjoyed giving of her time volunteering with the UMC Hospital auxiliary. Joyce was an avid Texas Tech fan, and most of all enjoyed Lady Raider Basketball. She loved loading up the travel trailer and hitting the road on new adventures with Jackey, with Alaska being her favorite road trip.
She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Chloe, Billie, C.L. and Joe Lee. Joyce leaves behind her husband Jackey, daughter Denise and husband Craig Booker of Lubbock. Her granddaughter Lenzi and husband Jason Wells,
along with her four great grandchildren: Carson, Nicholas, Jason Daniel and Savannah Wells all of Wesley Chapel, FL.
