Joyce Lafern Young, age 94, of Lubbock, Texas entered rest on Sunday, July 12, 2020. She was born April 10, 1926 to William Harce and Nova Opal Matheny.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Sonia Jean Monk; granddaughter, Holly Monk; grandson, Raymond Monk and other family members.

Visitation for will be held Friday, July 17, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel, with a Graveside Service at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Memorial Park.
