Trilma Juanette Rasco Hart, lovingly known as Juanette or Net, 82, of Amarillo, Texas took her last breath on earth and took her first breath in heaven on Monday, June 20th, 2022. She ran into the open arms of her Lord and Savior and the waiting arms of the love of her life, Jim Hart.
Juanette was born on October 25, 1939, to Trilton P. and Juanita Rasco in Plainview, Texas. She grew up in Lubbock and was the first class of Monterey High School to complete all three years and graduated in 1958. She was very proud to be on the school committee that chose the school colors Columbia Blue and Red, and the school mascot for Monterey, the Plainsmen. She was proud to have three grandchildren graduate from Monterey. She met the love of her life, Jim, on a blind date and they were married on August 29, 1958. They were married for 61 years before Jim’s passing.
Juanette started with Southwestern Bell/AT&T in 1961 in accounting. In 1972, the family moved to Amarillo where she continued with Southwestern Bell/AT&T and became a Service Representative before retiring in 1997. She made many lifelong friends while working at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.
Juanette loved crafts of all kinds including painting, jewelry making, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She had passion for music and singing. She loved square dancing with her husband and made lifelong friends through this activity. Her passion for traveling and camping took them all over the country. Newfoundland was her favorite trip of all times. They had their second home at Pendaries RV Resort in Rociada, New Mexico, where amazing memories with family and friends were made. Juanette loved playing any kind of board game or card games. She taught many of her friends and family to play Joker.
Juanette loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Marcy Williams of Mt. Vernon, Texas, Renee Wilkinson (Jack Todd) of Lubbock, Texas, Jim Hart of Pampa, Texas, and Debbie Yeoman (Chris) of Lubbock, Texas; ten grandchildren: Brittany Stidman, Chastine Gray (Daniel), J.T. Williams, Jenae McHugh (Andre), Dr. Brett Cook, Emily Hart, Kaitlyn Hart (David Allen), Cameron Yeoman, Kayla Yeoman, and Dalton Yeoman; and 10 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Glaytus, Burton, Janice; and numerous other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Jim, her parents; her in-laws James and Lillian Hart and daughter-in-love Deena Hart.
Family will receive friends Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 4-6 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held immediately following at 6 pm at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel, with Pastor Earle McDonough officiating. Interment will be on Monday at 2 pm at Resthaven.
