Judy was born August 25, 1948 in Paducah Texas the daughter of AC and Mozelle Brown Boren. She is a graduate of Paducah High School and attended South Plains College. Judy was retired at the time of her death but had worked for Dunlap Department Store in Office Administration, American Cotton Growers as a
Weaver and Technician and for many years at Lone Star Bail Bond.
She is survived by her Brother, Jerry Boren of Wichita Falls, TX, Two Nephews; Kenny Boren, his wife Brooke; their children Blair, Blake, Beckett, and Kevin Boren; both of Wichita Falls, TX. One Niece, Valerie Boren Harrison and husband Bond of Stephenville, TX and their children Liam and Wyatt. Judy was also survived by her childhood and lifelong friend; affectionally known as Judy’s Sister-In-Life, Dolores McCarroll Brown and many other lifelong friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Her interests included gardening, travel, woodworking, Lady Raider’s basketball and a tremendous love of music. She devoted most of her time to house remodeling and her animals. She also loved fishing, whether in a local lake or her happy spot in Red River, NM.
Judith visitation will be held on April 23, 2021 at 1pm in the Resthaven Abbey Chapel 5740 West 19th St., Lubbock, TX., Preceded by a graveside service at Resthaven Memorial Park at 2pm.
