Judy was born August 5, 1944 in Brownwood, Texas to Stewart and Gladyce (Spurlock) Rasberry.
She graduated from Early High School in 1962 and began her career with GTE as a telephone operator in Brownwood in 1963. She stayed with the company through its merger with Verizon, later transferring to Bedford, where she eventually retired.
She married David Riley Dennis in 1996. She and David moved to Lubbock in 2017. He preceded her in death in 2020.
Judy (“Juju”) is survived by brothers Floyd (Selina) and Benny; sisters Jo (Bill) Shive; Jan Royall and Joy (Michael Taylor) Rasberry. Her numerous nieces and nephews were very special to her, as was her beloved dog, Gabbi.
The family would like to sincerely thank Judy’s caregivers from over the past few years, many of whom were like family to her.
Graveside services will be held on August 20, 2026 at 10:30 am at Bellwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Temple, Texas.
