

On July 5, 2013 Julia Faye Robinson took the hand of Jesus and went to her eternal home. Celebration of Life services for Mrs. Robinson will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday July 9, 2013 in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Burial will follow immediately in Resthaven Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends on Monday July 7, 2013 from 5:00-7:00p.m. at Resthaven.
Julia was born on February 8, 1925 in Acuff to James and Elsie Pevey. She married Herman Carter on June 21, 1943. She later married Pat Robinson on December 19, 1970. Julia was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary for over 25 years. She enjoyed cooking and loved to sew. She was an artist at designing and sewing beautiful quilts.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, 9 siblings; 3 sons, Eddie, Herman Jr., and Doug; daughter, Bonnie Scarbrough; step-daughter, Patricia Johnson; granddaughter, Denice Lewis; and grandson, Daniel Carter. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Ann White of Lubbock, Jeanie Little of Dickens, Mary Minor of Sherman, Kathy Green and Velma Thomas, both of Spur, Telmage Carter of Smithville; step-son, Mike Robinson of Frisco, TX; 30 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; 35 great-great grandchildren And 3 brothers, Buddy Pevey, Doug Pevey, and Butch Pevey along with many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
