June Ford

Celebration of Life services for June Ford, 80, will be held at 10 am, Saturday, May 12. 2012 at Parkway Drive Baptist Church with Brother Pat Githens and Sidney Fallin officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm, Friday, May 11, 2012 at Resthaven Funeral Home.

June was born August 30, 1931 in Littlefield, Texas to the late A. I. and Teddie (Pugh) Baucom.

She married the love of her life, Harry Ford, in Tahoka, Texas, June 29, 1951.

June was a member of Parkway Drive Baptist Church. She was the local Avon representative for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Jeannette Gaither.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her loving husband of 61 years, Harry, sister; Faye Waldrup, sons; Gene Ford and wife, Rachel, of Round Rock, Gary Ford and wife, Tara of New Deal, Larry Ford and wife, Rosalyn of Lubbock, John Morris Ford and wife, Linda of Booneville, Ark. daughter; Tracy Holder and husband, Tom of Tahoka, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
