

June graduated from Bowie High School and went to Midwestern University, where she received a Bachelors in Business. After graduation, she worked for the Department of Game and Fish. She married Charles Walker on November 22, 1963, in Wichita Falls.
After a short stay in Monahans, Texas, they moved to Eunice, New Mexico, where they raised their three children. Once all her children were in school, June began working for Eunice ISD as the Junior High Librarian; she continued her career for 20-plus years and ended as the Administrative Assistant to the school superintendent.
June was a devote Christian, active in the church, and a loving stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed camping and traveling all over the U.S. Her favorite pastime was crocheting baby blankets and hot pads, which were given to family, friends, and strangers alike.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Walker, her siblings; C.O. Stom Jr., Eugene Guy Stom, George Stom, Roy Stom, Dawn Craig, and Carl Stom, her grandson, Riley Sutherlin, and her son-in-law, Alan Harrison.
June is survived by her sister, Claudine Kiles. Children; Darla K. Harrison, Clint Walker, Alana Sutherlin, and her husband, Ron, her grandchildren; Chase Harrison, his wife, Reagan Harrison, Logan Harrison, Breanna Harrison, Kendra Sutherlin, Dillon Sutherlin, and her great grandchildren, Clay and Berkley Harrison.
Graveside services for June will be at Resthaven Memorial Park Thursday, April 13, at 11:00 AM. The family wishes to thank the Wilshire Memory Care Facility staff and Traditions Hospice of Lubbock.
