Juston Byrd

Juston attended the Marine Military Academy in Harlingen before graduating from Coronado High School in Lubbock. Gifted with a brilliant mind and skilled hands, he could build beautiful things that became a blessing to many over the years. Above all, Juston was a beloved father who cherished his children more than anything, loving them with unconditional love. His life was also marked by mercy and a tender concern for anyone in need, offered with a quiet sincerity that those around him came to rely on.

A man of faith, Juston loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and deeply desired that others would come to love Him as well.

Juston was preceded in death by his grandfather and bestfriend, J.L. McClure, and grandfather, Reymundo Velarde, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica Byrd; his brother, Jason Byrd; his mother, Tammy Wolfe; his grandmother, Sue McClure; his grandmother, Abby Velarde; his Uncle Rick (wife, Mindy); and his children, Paris Velarde, Alexis Byrd (husband, Gage), Bailey Byrd, Bryce Alexander, Nadia Byrd, Jayce Byrd, Justice Byrd; and grandson, Knox Madrigal and many cousins.

Juston will be missed by his family and friends.
