Kanahaiya Wendling was born on March 17, 1985, to Kenneth and Ratna Adhikary Wendling in Hobbs, New Mexico. Kanahaiya married Apsara Ghimire. Survivors include his wife, Apsara Ghimire; two daughters, Kalyani and Katyana Wendling; two sisters, Kundalini Lini and Kuline Wendling; parents, Kenneth and Ratna Adhikary Wendling; uncle, Kanchan Adhikary and wife, Antonella; aunts, Sunita Adhikary, Rashmi Thapa and Dr. Samata; Cynthia Waldron and husband, Russel; and numerous cousins and friends.
