Larry Gene Hahn

Larry Gene Hahn entered into eternal rest on November 16, 2021 at the age of 90. Born in Vega, TX to the late Jimmie and Oleta Hahn; he now reunites with his parents; wife of 56 years, Anita Hahn; daughter Jean Hahn; and sister Nelda Wright.

Larry, a true patriarch of the family, he enjoyed spending his time reading and studying the bible, and writing. He was a great teacher and mentor to many; and enjoyed going fishing and camping. His presence will be missed dearly by many.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his children: Shirley Hahn, Douglas (Cheryl) Hahn, Sheila Hahn; grandchildren: Erich, Christina, Jessica, Blake, JT, Josh, Wyatt, Logan, Chevy; 6 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving guests at the funeral home on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 2pm-4pm. Service will continue with a Celebration of Life on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 10am at Greenlawn Church of Christ, 5701 19th Street. Interment will follow at 130pm In Spur Cemetery.

Mr. Hahn was one of a kind person. I appreciate all he has done for me when we were together. He was a great friend, mentor and fisherman. I will miss him but will see him again. Prayers for all of his family and friends, I believe we have been blessed to have him.
