Larry Ross

Larry Ross was born on September 27, 1939 in Concord, N.C., fittingly above a bar. Larry was a very driven man who refused to fail. He was the founder and owner of Nothin’ Butt Smokes, as well as the 4th Street Sports Bar. Although he could be a difficult man to deal with at times, he greeted most people with “hey, baby” and truly enjoyed life.

Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Terri Ross-Lopez and husband Albert of Muleshoe; son, Shon Ross and wife Amy of Lubbock; six grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, Aaryn, Aiden, Evan and Kate; and one great grandchild, Reegin. He was preceded in death by his wife, of 44 years, Mary Jo, which he married on April 30, 1965.

In lieu of flowers or contributions, Larry Ross would prefer you bought one more round and had a good laugh on him. After all, it will be “ok, baby!”
