Laura was born on February 1, 1960, in Winfield, Louisiana, to Charlie Blankenship and Gale Moore. Laura attended Coronado High School graduating with the class of 1978.
She shared a beautiful marriage with Ty Lane for 47 years. Together they had two sons: Joshua Ty and Jacob Bryce.
Laura was a proud member of Southcrest Baptist Church and had a passion for fitness, the beach, hiking with her dogs, and most of all the Lord and her family. She will always be remembered for her love, kindness, and dedication to her husband and sons and she embraced Ty’s family like her own.
Laura was preceded in death by her beloved son Jacob Bryce, her sister Lisa Blankenship, her mother Gale, and her father Charlie.
She is survived by her husband Ty Lane; her son Joshua Lane; and her siblings Sherri Adair, Kathy Darby, and Chuck Blankenship.

Funeral services will be held at Southcrest Baptist Church, 3801 S Loop 289, Lubbock, TX 79423, on Thursday at 10:00 AM.
