Leonard R. Henson

Celebration of life services for Leonard “Honey” Henson will be held at 10 am, Monday, December 6, 2010 at Resthaven’ Abbey Chapel.

Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Leonard “Honey” Ross

Henson was born May 29, 1941 in Farmers Branch, Tx to the late John and Dorothy (Jones) Henson. He married the love of his life, Sandra Sullivan, August 19, 1960, in Farmers Branch, TX.

Honey graduated from Texas Tech University in 1974 with a Bachelors Degree in business.

He retired from Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Company where he was a claims supervisor. He was a member of Bacon Heights Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Carl Ross Henson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Sandra, daughters; Kim McAnally, LeeAnne Raines and husband, Chad, son; Chris Henson and wife, Carrie, sisters; Betty Dafft and Carol Means, brother; Johnny Henson, grandchildren; Justin McAnally, Sullivan Henson, Ross Raines, Jackson Raines, Addison Henson and Channing Henson.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Salvation Army.
