

Lillian Wood was born, December 10, 1930, to Dewey and Maudie Angle Howell in Laflin, Missouri. She married Hayes Leroy Wood on December 11th, 1948 (Divorced in 1976). They moved to Lubbock, Texas in 1955. Lillian was a waitress at Mr. Donut before beginning employment with the City of Lubbock in micro fiche and the lunchroom. She retired from the City of Lubbock in 2000. Lillian was loving, full of life, a friend to many and a stranger to none. Excellent cook and said “if you leave hungry it’s your own fault”.Survivors include her children: Sharon Kay Sinclair and husband, Doug; Diane Key and husband, Greg; Kevin Wood and wife, Patty; Kent Wood and wife, Tammi; grandchildren: Melissa Etchegaray and husband, Joe, Tina Sinclair, Christy Perkins and husband, Scott; Emma Key, Amy Key, and Keyahna Wood; great-grandchildren: Jessica Terris and husband, Garrett; Colby Weber, Dani Etchegaray, Caleb Etchegaray, Courtney Sinclair, Ian Perkins, Keygan Perkins and Jocelyn Key; siblings: Bessie Glenn, Pat Burke and husband, Alton "Frog"; Linda Trowbridge, Dewey “Junior” Howell, Mike Howell and wife, Brenda.She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Maudie Howell, brother, James Howell; grandchildren: James Key and Jennifer Key.Lillian Wood passed away of natural causes, February 1, 2019.
