Celebration of life services for Logan McCabe, 92, of Lubbock will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Resthaven’s Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Bill Hendricks officiating. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 pm, tonight at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Delbert Ray Logan McCabe was born May 19, 1918 in Geuda Springs, Kansas. He served in the United States Army
Logan married the love of his life, Louise Vandever, November 10, 1940 in Arkansas City, Kansas.
He owned and operated Plains Laundry and 5 Bar M Stables. Logan invented and manufactured laundry equipment including the first Automated laundry sheet spreader feeder. He was a charter member of Lubbockview Christian Church.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 70 years, Louise, sons; Doug McCabe and wife, Kathy of Dallas, Stan McCabe and wife, Teresa of Lubbock, and daughter, Marianne Jones and husband, Neil of Lubbock, grandchildren; Lindsey Horton, Derek Jones, Carson McCabe, Cassidy McCabe, Brooks McCabe, Dustin Jones, Taylor McCabe and Kinsey McCabe and 4 great grandchildren.
