Lonna Munn

On April 29, 1961, Lonna married Marion Munn at her parents’ home in Seminole. Their union marked the beginning of a devoted partnership that spanned 63 years. Together they built a life in Lubbock, where Marion worked at Texas Tech University for over five decades. Throughout their marriage, Lonna and Marion shared a deep commitment to family and community.

Lonna was a beloved mother to her children, Marty Munn and his wife Diane, and Stephanie Taylor and her husband David. She took great pride in her role as grandmother to Tyler Munn and his wife Kari; Trevor Munn and his wife Monique; Cory Taylor and his wife Jayden; and Joshua Taylor. Her joy multiplied with the arrival of her great-grandchildren: Timothy Munn, Joanna Munn, Violet Munn and Elliott Munn.

Lonna’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her legacy bring comfort and peace to all who mourn her passing.
