Lorenzo Jaime

Lorenzo Jaime passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025. He was 80 years old. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church in Abilene, TX, at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. He will be laid to rest, together with his wife, at the Texas State Veteran's Cemetery of Abilene at 3:00 p.m.

Lorenzo Jaime was born on February 11, 1945, to Manuel and Ernestina Jaime in El Paso, TX. Lorenzo married Janie Jaime on March 13, 1970, in Abilene, TX. Coming from humble beginnings, Lorenzo flourished in the insurance business owning his own insurance practice at Allstate. He was an avid golfer with many friends throughout the Lubbock community. He served in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Dyess Air Force Base and overseas in Taipei, Taiwan. Lorenzo was a loving husband, father, brother, and son. He will be loved and missed by all.

Survivors include his daughter, Jacqueline Raquel Jaime; son, Lorenzo Steven Jaime and wife, Erika Sullivan Jaime; brothers, Manuel Jaime and Reyes Jaime; aunt Guadalupe Aguilera; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Jaime; father, Manuel Jaime; and mother, Ernestina Jaime.
