

Louella Laverne Hodges went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 9th at the age of 94 years young. At the time of her death she was living in Oxford Michigan surrounded by her family and friends. She died peaceably at home.
Louella was born on May 7, 1921 to William and Hudie Rogers In McCauley Texas. On June 4,1938 she married H.C. Hodges. They were both employed by North American Aviation and was called "Rosie the Riveter". They later moved to Lynn County where they farmed. In 1956 they adopted the love of their life Nickey Kim Hodges. They later moved to Lubbock Texas where she later retired from Kmart.
She loved the Lord with all her heart and was a joy to be around. She loved her family and would do anything for them. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church where she served faithfully for over 35 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother and a brother.
She is survived by her son Nickey Kim and his wife Judy, three grandchildren Talema and Rob Edwards, Micah and Tronda Hodges, Kimberly and Michael Aliano, six great-grandchildren, Randall Gaines, Shyla Roberts, Malachi, Bella, Lincoln, in Monroe Aliano. She was awaiting the birth of a seventh grandchild in August. She had two nieces Marie Daniels and family, Becky Vance and family, two nephews Ronnie and Bill Rogers.
All services will be at Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock Texas. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 13th from 5:00-7:00 pm. Her services will be on Thursday morning at 10:00 with Bro.Dale Webster presiding.
She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
