Luca Javier Duarte

Luca was welcomed by his parents, Javier and Veronica Duarte, and his brother, Nacho. He is also remembered by his grandparents, David and Olivia Uriegas, and Juan Jose Duarte and Carolina Suarez; his uncles, Daniel, Josue, Artemio, and Steve; his aunts, Amanda, Rosie, Kelley, and Kristine; his cousins, Delilah, Mateo, Elio, and Cruz; and his great-grandparents, George and Alma Marinez and Celestino Suarez.

He was greeted in Heaven by his great-grandparents Victor and Virginia Uriegas, Asuncion Bernache Vicente, Eudocia Rojas, Artemio Duarte, and Frankie Chadis.

The Duarte family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Phy, Dr. Richards, Dr. Ralston, and the dedicated doctors, nurses, and staff of the UMC NICU. Their compassion, care, and kindness will never be forgotten. The family also wishes to thank Slate Group, Zap+Soul Collective, Monogram It, and Sky Garden for their support during this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in honor of Luca's memory.
