Lucille Terry McGowan, 96, died Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Floresville Residence and Rehab in Floresville, TX. She moved to San Antonio 2 years ago to live with her daughter and son-in-law. She was born October 3, 1918 in Grayson County, TX and lived in Lubbock for 93 years. She was a member of Lakeridge Baptist Church and enjoyed crocheting, friends and family. Lucille was preceded in death by her husbands, Herbert Cecil Terry and Leonard McGowan; mother, Nancy Stevens; father TA Stevens; brother, Woodrow Stevens; and sister, Bertha Condray Branch. She is survived by her daughter Lavon Mann and her husband Duey of San Antonio, TX; and granddaughters, Sheree Mann, Mindy Mann, and Pat Wireman. A celebration of Lucille’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2015 in the Abbey Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home with interment to follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
