She was born on September 27, 1958, in Levelland, Texas, to Robert Robbins and Billie Anne Robbins. She grew up in Levelland, where she learned the importance of hard work and kindness. In junior high, she met her sweetheart, Otis Ray Cook, and on June 18, 1977, they were married. Together they shared 48 years of marriage built on devotion, laughter, and a deep commitment to their family.
Lynn dedicated much of her career to serving others. She was instrumental in helping establish South Plains Rural Health, where she took pride in contributing to its beginnings. She also worked with Resthaven and George Price Funeral Home, where she was known for her dedication and care for the families she served. Beyond her work, she made friends everywhere she went—her smile and warmth left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
In retirement, Lynn especially cherished her years in South Texas, where she enjoyed days at the beach, capturing pictures of palm trees and sunsets, and making memories with new friends who became like family. She found joy in her grandchildren, music, laughter with friends, and even the thrill of a good slot machine—living a simple life filled with fun and happiness.
She is survived by her husband, Otis; her son, Jason Cook and wife Amy of Shallowater; her daughter, Mika Snyder and husband Jeffrey of Georgetown; her cherished grandchildren, Austin Cook and wife Channing, Addyson Fabila and husband Phoenix, Kylee Cook, Sawyer Snyder, Bowen Snyder, and Griffin Snyder; her great-grandson, Maverick; her brother, Mark Robbins; her uncle and aunt, Jimmy and Sue Heard; and her sisters, Peggy Crittenden and husband Butch and Debbie Ballard and husband Kent.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Robbins and Billie Anne Robbins; her brother, Larry Kirk Robbins; her sister-in-law, Lisa Robbins; and her grandparents, Mavis and J.M. Heard, and Robert and Martha Robbins.
Lynn will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her smile that could light up a room, her deep love for her family, and the countless friendships she built throughout her life.
