Macario Luis Fierro, 47, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away January 25, 2020. He was born in Lubbock, Texas on September 9, 1973. Macario graduated from Cornado High School and attended South Plains College.
Macario worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for 25 years of service. He was a member of the Lubbock Fishing Club and had a passion for hunting, fishing and having a good time with Family and Friends.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Dora Fierro of Lubbock, Texas; brother, Eloy Flores his wife DeeAnn Flores; nephew, Aaron Flores of Lubbock, Texas; niece, Marcella Collins of Florida; younger sister, Eva Anzaldua, and her husband, Jason Anzaldua; niece, Gia Anzaldua of Lamesa, Texas; aunts, Rita Ortiz and Veronica Escandon; cousin Elizabeth O’Balle, and her husband, Matt O’Balle, of Wolfforth, Texas; aunts, Mary Vargas of Artesia, New Mexico, and Veronica Baker of Brunswick, Georgia.
Macario is proceded in death by grandparents, Juan and Maria Escandon of Wolfforth, Texas and Manuel and Martha Fierro of Artesia, New Mexico.
A Visitation will take place Friday, January 31, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church beginning from 6:00PM – 8:00PM. A Rosary will begin at 6:30PM. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 10:00AM at St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
