Slaton, Texas.
Marc Jr. was born February 19, 1978, in Pekin, Illinois to Marc Edward and Sandra Lee Shipton. Along with his family, he moved to Texas in 1983.
Marc was an avid fisherman, loved camping, and had a passion for life, family and friends. He was the proud and loving father of his son Marcus. Marc’s love of construction brought him to work alongside his father as a skilled carpenter in the construction industry.
He is survived by his son Marcus, father and mother Marc Edward Sr. and Patty Shipton, sister Tami (Ted) Pisarski, brother Forrest and nephew Theodore Pisarski all of Lubbock. Marc Jr. passed into the care of his Lord together with his maternal
mother, Sandra Shipton. Many aunts and uncles, in the Shipton and Massoth families, are left in both sorrow yet appreciation of Marc’s life.
Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home Monday, April 23, 2012 from 6:00 pm –9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 10:00 am, with final resting at Resthaven Memorial Park, Lubbock, Texas.
