Margaret Taylor

Margaret Elizabeth Taylor, born March 26, 1925 in Bridgeport, Texas to Flossie Green Hood and Grady Cordell Green, passed away on December 16, 2015 at the Creekside Care Center in Huntsville, Texas. Margaret was married to Dallas Neil Taylor for 61 years and to Roger Harvey for six years. She is survived by three sons: Dr. Bobby Taylor and wife Jeanene of Odessa, TX, Billy Taylor, of Scottsdale, AZ and Jimmy Taylor and wife Vicki of Point Blank, TX and two loving step-daughters Norma Briggs and husband John, of Amarillo, TX and Rojanna Harvey of Tuscon, AZ.

She was a faithful Christian, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, always supportive of her sons’ and grandchildren's many activities, especially sports. Sweet memories of time spent with her will be cherished by her five grandchildren: Dallas Pender, Jason Taylor, Bronson Taylor, Brandon Taylor and Brandi Nicholson. She was proud of her 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers: Johnny Green of Visalia, CA and Bill Green of Andrews, TX. Preceding her in death were her two husbands, Neil and Roger, her sister Doris Hawkins and her husband Ford, daughter-in-law Connie Richardson Taylor and sister-in-law Mickey Sparks Green. In Margaret’s lifetime she has resided in area towns of Plains, Lubbock, and Amarillo.
