Margarita Naranjo

Beloved mom and grandmother, Margarita Elisa Naranjo, 82, died Friday June 14, 2019 in Lubbock TX. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Adolfo Naranjo Sr, parents Feliciano Riojas and Petra Garcia Guerra, son Filipe Riojas, two daughters Sylvia and Rosemary Naranjo, and brother Carlos Maximo Riojas.

Margarita was born July 20, 1936 in Fall City, TX to Feliciano and Petra Riojas. She grew up in the surrounding panhandle area. She enjoyed sewing, reading, dancing, old movies and spending time with family, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, and friend, always thinking of others first. “To know her was to love her.”

Margarita is survived by her two sisters Juanita Vergara and Julia De Luna, her children Elena Caudle (spouse Curtis Caudle), Rita Castro (spouse Eloy Castro), Adolfo Naranjo, Ricardo Naranjo (spouse Lydia Naranjo), Daisy Naranjo, Viola Olivarez (spouse Gabino Olivarez), Clara Prieto (spouse Johnny Prieto), and Juan Naranjo (spouse Christy Naranjo. She was also a loving grandmother to 36 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.
