Born on May 24, 1945, Margarita lived a life rooted in faith, love, and service to others. She was a lifelong member of Templo Bethel Church since 1965. She was a devoted caregiver for many years, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her kindness, compassion, and gentle spirit touched the lives of many and left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Margarita enjoyed shopping and treating herself to a milkshake along with her favorite Burger King “especial.” These simple outings were a special joy to her and something she always looked forward to. She found happiness in life’s everyday moments and treasured time spent with those she loved. Above all, Margarita’s greatest blessing was her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of her world, and she loved them with all her heart. She cherished every visit, every laugh, and every memory made together.
A woman of deep faith, Margarita loved the Lord and found strength and comfort in her relationship with Him throughout her life. While her family will miss her dearly, they find peace in knowing she is now resting in His presence.
Margarita is survived by her children, Melissa Picon, Melinda De Los Santos, and Timoteo Trevino; her grandchildren, Marissa Trujillo, Adrianne Baker, Joey Salazar, and Marinda Picon; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Aaron Trujillo, Karslie Baker, Samantha Salazar, Rylan Baker, Tim Salazar, Aiden Trujillo, Maggie Salazar, Aubri Trujillo, and Dallen Baker; and her beloved great-granddog, Poppy.
She is also survived by her siblings, Cresencio Rodriguez Jr., Christina Mejia, Minga Rice, Linda Navarro, Josefina Gonzalez, Mary Esparza, Juan Rodriguez, Molly Rodriguez, Jessie Rodriguez, and Danny Rodriguez.
Margarita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Timoteo Z. Trevino; her parents, Cresencio and Ramona Rodriguez; and her brothers, Augustine Rodriguez Sr., Simon Rodriguez Sr., and David Rodriguez.
Known affectionately as Grandma, Margarita’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought endless happiness and pride to her life. She will be remembered for her loving heart, unwavering faith, and the countless ways she cared for those around her.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that she is at peace in the presence of the Lord and reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. Her legacy of love, kindness, faith, and devotion to family will live on for generations to come.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
