Celebration of life service for Marguerite P. Gerrior, 87, of Lubbock will be held at 10 am, Monday, June 20, 2011 at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 2 to 4 pm, Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Marguerite was born November 22, 1923 in Fort Chipewyan, Alberta, Canada to the late Phillip and Hororine Mercredy. She married Charles (Chuck) Gerrior May 1970.
Marguerite loved to travel and while living in Germany served as a tour guide in Kenya, Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. She also was employed as a sales representative for American Airlines. Marguerite attended Christ the King Cathedral Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by a sister and 4 brothers.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her loving husband, Chuck; daughter, Diana Hollingsworth and husband, Sam; grandson, Jason Hollingsworth and numerous nieces and nephews.
