Cherie, you are one of the rarest gems I have known- witty, loving, caring, strong, courageous, adventurous, simple, foodie. Our school group chats will never ever be the same without you. We will miss your routines, your cheerful banter and your challenges and adventures. We met again after 3 decades but you left back a lifetime of incredible memories.
Chiquito, Tarun, Radhika- Cherie left us too soon, so young- so difficult to comprehend God’s ways. But be assured that Cherie will always be your fierce intercessor. She’ll watch over you all. She’ll always be with you in Spirit.
Love each other fiercely like Cherie did.

It was really shocking to hear the loss of my Big Titin, and I will cherish the little time that we spent together.

May her soul rest in peace 🕊

I was fortunate enough to know Cherie when she and Chiquito moved into the Greater Bew Haven area after he started a post-doc at Yale.
Everyone who has ever known her will miss her gentle, supportive, and sympathetic presence. I know that she will still be with her family in spirit, and I wish them well.

We were Shocked to hear about Cherie"s sudden passing. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies and condolences .
May God grant you and your children the courage and strength to bear this great loss.

Cherie, it’s so hard to believe that you’re no longer with us.

You were one of the strongest women I knew—strong-willed, fearless, and never afraid to stand up for what you believed in. That was such a beautiful part of who you were. Yet behind that strength was a heart that was deeply sensitive, caring, and full of love.

I’ll always remember your laughter, your honesty, your determination, and the fierce loyalty you showed to the people you loved. You loved wholeheartedly, and that is a gift not everyone possesses.

Rest peacefully, dear Cherie. May you find the peace you so deeply deserve. We will miss you.

Our hearts and prayers are with Chiquito and the children. May God give you the strength to bear this loss and surround you with His love, comfort, and grace in the days ahead.

Remembering my Madrin in this beautiful moment from her wedding day with me. A fierce, intelligent, and accomplished woman, she built a life filled with strength, determination, and love for her family. Her journey and the life she created with her husband and children is a legacy worth celebrating. I’m grateful to have this photograph as a glimpse into a beautiful chapter of her life. May her memory always be a blessing.

Bold and Beautiful inside out. A gem of a person. Will miss you. Condolences to Chiquito and the children. Hugs to Henning.
Rest in peace Cherie.

Condolences to Cherie's family and loved ones. Have fond childhood memories. Cherie is a copy of her mum. Eternal rest grant upon her & may her soul Rip 🙏

It is difficult to really grasp the loss of your beautiful wife and loving mother. My heart truly goes out to you. Cherish the wonderful memories you made with her and know she is now at peace and still very much alive in Eternity. Pray for her daily and know she is praying for you as well.

I will always remember her beautiful smile and amazing gift of hospitality. She always made everyone feel like family. And I must say she was an amazing cook as well. Everything she made was so delicious.

May she rest in the arms of Jesus and Mary. Until we see her again. God’s Mercy is like an ocean. His love is never ending. Praise be to God and May the peace of Christ be with you in this difficult time.

Love,
Ms. Linda

Cherie was so refreshingly genuine. I will miss growing our friendship. The most sincere condolences to the family.

I am so sad to hear of Cherie's passing. I worked along side her for many years at the Home Depot and I have her to thank for much of my training and my start with the company. She loved her family deeply and always spoke of how proud she was of her children. I am so sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you.
