Martha Bland, age 77 of Lubbock, Texas passed away on Wednesday June 21, 2023. She was born on November 29, 1945 to Louise and Edward Bland. Martha moved to Lubbock in 1952 and began her 42 year career with Lubbock Area United Way in 1969. She loved the Lubbock community and the work of United Way. Martha was dependable and always willing to do anything that was needed.
She will be remembered for loving her family and friends, her generosity, big personality and determined nature. Martha had a fabulous dry sense of humor. She enjoyed her dachshunds, reading, playing solitaire, and watching NASCAR.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, two brothers Charles and David, and Tony Bullard, her sweetheart of 33 years.
She is survived by her step son Blane Bullard of Lubbock and her United Way friends.
Friends are invited to a casual graveside gathering to be held at Thursday June 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Cemetery 5740 West 19th St, Lubbock, TX
