Services for Mary Goldwater, 92, of Lubbock, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov 16, 2010 at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Mrs. Goldwater passed away on Friday, Nov 12, 2010.
Mary was born on Christmas Day in 1917 in Camden, Ark. She married Carl Goldwater, Sr. on Jan 1, 1936 in Hope, Ark. Carl passed away on Nov 21, 1999. She was a longtime member of King’s Ridge Church of Christ.
Survivors include Three sons, Carl Jr, of Spring, TX, Gale and Glenn both of Lubbock; one daughter, Barbara Mahaffey of Houston; two sisters, Ethel Richardson and Edith Hyde, both of Calif.; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
