Maselle Craig

Maselle Craig, 98, of Lubbock, went to be with the Lord on September 16, 2013. She was born December 27, 1914 in Wheeler Co. Texas to Tom and Nettie Clay. Maselle married Ned B. Craig July 3, 1937, after 63 years together; Ned preceded her in death on May 18, 2000.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Barry and her husband Craig of Arvada, CO; her son, Kent Craig and his wife Lauren of Frisco, Texas; three Granddaughters, Becky Craig, Meredith Imes and her husband Jason and Meagan Hoefer; three great-granddaughters, Emmy Imes, Sadie Hoefer and Avery Hoefer.

Maselle was a member of Broadway Church of Christ and Classic Nine Ladies Bible Class for over 50 years. Her greatest joys were cooking and entertaining for holidays, going to church and Bible study, planting flowers, working in her back yard and attending sports events.

Visitation will be Thursday September 19 at Resthaven Funeral Home from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be Friday Sept. 20 at 10 am in Broadway Church of Christ with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
