Maureen H. Davis

May 10th,2026 at the age of 95. Mother's Day will forever be remembered.

Maureen was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a devoted wife. She will be remembered for her kindness and infectious dimpled smile. She shared a passion for the British Royal Family memorabilia, angels, sports and faith. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian church for over 50 years. She will forever be remembered for her love of community service. She was a faithful volunteer with Lubbock Meals on Wheels for over 55 years. P.E.O. Chapter DP was a women's organization dear to her heart. She was a Golden Girl for over 50 years. She now rest in Chapter Eternal.

She married George P. Davis in 1951 and cherished 55 years with the love of her life. She resided in Lubbock since 1967.

Maureen is preceded in death by her husband George Davis and parents Dorthy Skibness and Hal Heaton.

She is survived by her four children Edward Davis and wife Carol, Philip Davis and Theresa Byers, Christy Wright and husband Steve, Kathy Porr and her husband Marvin. All residents of Texas.

Maureen was “MiMi” to seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. They loved their MiMi so very much.

We all will be blessed with memories of burned buns, 10 o’clock ice cream, bird watching, martinis, love and laughter. The list is endless.

Gone from here but NEVER forgotten.
