Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 2:00 pm at New Hope Church with burial to follow at Reshaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home tonight from 6-8 pm.
Merle worked for Plains Coop Oil Mill for 33 years. He enjoyed working with wood and made many crafts.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Margie Combs; three children, Pat Ethridge of Ulysses, Kansas, Bob Combs of Lubbock, and Merlene Woodard of New Deal; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and three sisters Betty Roberts, and Loetta Smith both of Shidler, Oklahoma and Alice Moody of Cedarvale, Kansas.
