Merle was a member of 1st United Methodist Church in Wolfforth for many years.
She worked at JC Penneys and at Methodist hospital, while raising her 4 boys, and being a homemaker was her pride and joy.
Merle is survived by her sons, David Martin, Ray (Betty) Martin, Boyd Martin and Bryan (ViTricia) Martin; 8 grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; brother, Ed (Carolyn) Blakey; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents, and two husbands; Clifford Wayne Martin and Jimmie Pierce.
