Merry Altman

Merry worked many years in banking, she was one of the most trustworthy and caring person one could meet. She was a natural care giver by heart and enjoyed pleasing those she loved. She exceeded the term “exceptional” in all she did; most importantly she was the most loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister one could ask for.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, EJ Young, and step-son, Barry Young. Merry leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving husband of 30 years, Don Altman; her son, Kaylom Young; her step-children: Kristi Wilson (Rick), Roy Teeters (Kathy), Kelly Cagle (David), Susan Luna (Noel), Jay Young (Karen), Penny Young, Amber Walker (Scott), Dace Altman (Johann), Patricia Rush (Rayne); her sisters: Terry Martin, Molly Albert, Judy Lane; 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 in Resthaven Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Meals on Wheels in her honor.
