Mike Earl East

Passed away on 6/9/. 25 due to a lengthy illness. Mike was born in Tulsa Oklahoma on 9/12/1950. He was adopted as a baby to Elmer and Ulala East. He worked his life on the family farm. Mike had a love for music, enjoying playing the guitar and playing drums from a young man until the end of his life. He always entertained and kept the family laughing. Mike had a long time girlfriend that he loved dearly.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Ulala East, his brother Lowell East, his sister Betty Fitchett, his niece Jaque Baker.

He leaves behind niece Karen Ray and her husband Charles, a great niece Kourtney Brock, her husband Tim, and daughter Aspen, a great nephew Casey Woodman. A nephew David Fitchett and his wife Sue. Many other cousins, nieces and nephews and close friends.

The Family would like to Thank Traditions Hospice of Lubbock, and a special thank you to his Church Family at South Park Baptist of Lubbock.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations to South Park Baptist Church of Lubbock, Buckner’s Children’s home, or The Texas Boys and Girls Ranch.

Visitation will be on Saturday June 14, 2025 from 4-6 pm.

Graveside services on Monday June 16, 2025 at 11:00 am at Resthaven Funeral Home.
